In the book "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell there are 2 twin sisters with completely different personalities. Cath, the secluded, shy girl who is afraid to get out of her shell and is only worried about her Simon fanfiction and Wren who is the more outgoing twin who was always invited to the parties and was always seen as the "better" twin. Cath always had her twin sister to go to but now that they are off to college Wren doesnt want to dorm with Cath so that leaves Cath all alone. Ever since they were young, they were always together but since their mom left them that made them closer than ever. We all have that one thing that's our "Safe Place", that one thing we turn to when we aren't in a good mood or just want to escape the world for a bit and for Cath it was her fanfiction. Cath and Wren started writing fanfiction when their mom left them, it was their little get away. But as they grew up Wren outgrew the fanfiction which led Cath to continue it. They are both young adults trying to make the transition of teens to adults but they both have different ideas on how to do so.
